We ran into the same three things every Malaysian business does when it tries to send SMS: providers that refuse whole industries on sight, dashboards that report "delivered" for anything they accepted, and a sales process that wants a contract before you have sent a single message.
So we built the thing we wanted to use. HantarSMS sends on a Malaysian short code, charges RM0.20 per segment with no monthly fee and no minimum, and shows you the same delivery data we see.
What you get on day one
Send from the browser. Paste numbers, type the message, see the exact cost before you confirm.
Live quote. Character count, segments, encoding and total update as you type. Numbers in the wrong format are flagged before you send, not charged after.
Real delivery report. Submitted and delivered are two different numbers on your screen. If a message was never submitted, the credit comes straight back.
Free trial credit. Register, message us on WhatsApp, and send a few real messages to your own phone before you decide to top up.

The rules we hold ourselves to
We do not decline an industry without looking. We will tell you honestly if operators are filtering your content, and we explain how to find out.
We never report a submission as a delivery.
You are responsible for having consent from your recipients and for complying with the PDPA. We have written a plain-language guide to what that means.
When something on our side goes wrong, we say so here.
What is not there yet
Top-up is manual for now: you WhatsApp us, we add the credit. There is no API yet, and no scheduling. Both are on the list; we would rather ship sending that works and add the rest than launch with a feature grid.
