October update:
less copying, less waiting

Five changes to the console, all live today. Sending, pricing and the API work exactly as before.

1. Import your recipient list from Excel or CSV

Most of you keep customer numbers in a spreadsheet. On the send page, above the recipient box, there is now Import from Excel / CSV. Pick the file, or simply drag it onto the recipient box.

We find the column that holds the phone numbers, skip the header row, remove duplicates and show you how many numbers are valid before anything is filled in. Then choose Replace current numbers or Add to current numbers, check the cost on the right, and send as usual.

Not sure how to lay out your list? Click Download sample next to the import link. The phone column is already formatted as text, so Excel will not drop the leading zero while you fill it in.

2. See exactly what you sent

Send history used to show only the campaign name. Every row now shows the first line of the message underneath, and clicking it opens the full details:

Export and "view failed numbers" now live in this window too, so the history list stays one line per campaign.

3. Forgot your password? Reset it yourself

The login page now has a Forgot password? link. Enter your email and we send a reset link that works once and expires after 30 minutes. For your privacy the page says the same thing whether or not the email has an account, so nobody can use it to check who is a customer.

4. Account & security

A new Account link at the top of the console lets you change your password, and Sign out all other devices if you used HantarSMS on someone else's computer. On mobile, the language switch and Log out are in there too, so the top bar has room for your balance.

5. Low balance alerts by email

If you send verification codes, an empty balance means your users stop receiving them, and you usually find out from a complaint. Now we email you first.

A cleaner console

We also tidied up the look: calmer colours, fewer boxes, and on a computer the send page now keeps the character count, segments and total cost on the right while you write, with the Send button right below them.

If you use the API

Nothing changes for you. API keys are not affected by password changes, password resets or signing out other devices, and the API itself, prices and limits are the same as before. Messages you send through the API appear in Send history too, and the details window tells you whether a campaign came from the console or the API.
